Monday Mood Board - Carrots are good for you

Do all bunny rabbits eat carrots? We learned through books, stories and cartoons that everyone seem to associate rabbits with carrots. I do know that carrots are good for you. My mum used to always say eat your carrots so that you will have a good eyesight and there is no need to wear glasses. Alas, I did not heed mum's advice and my eyesight is far from a 20/20 vision.

Nevertheless, my eyes never failed to pick out some of these lovely "carrot-y" finds from talented Madeit sellers.

Enjoy  :)

Monday Mood Board - Apple Orchard

One of my favourite autumn fruit is the humble but versatile apple. Eat it as is or turn it into cakes, pies or use it to make applesauce to go with your next pork roast.

Keep the doctor away with these apple-licious finds from Madeit. Enjoy!

Autumn has arrived

I love this time of the year where I get to see leaves change colour and hear the crackling of dried leaves as I walked along the footpath. The sun has gone to bed earlier making the days are shorter. It is also a time where I will start to make hot soups for dinners using a mixture of Asian and Western recipes. My wool jackets are now making an appearance in my regular wardrobe as the weather is now getting colder.

Yes I still missed the summer days but I also welcome the change in seasons and all the new sights and smells it will bring ♥

Crochet Cuteness - Penguin Amigurumi

I go weak in the knees whenever I come across something cute and this one takes the cake anytime. Unfortunately I cannot crochet for the life of me. I can knit (only on straight needles though) but crochet seems complicated to me. So if you know how to crochet, how about taking some time out of your granny square schedule and make Snuggles the Penguin for yourself or for a little person. I will even swap you for it if you have no one to give it to :)

Make your own charging mobile phone holder

Every Tuesday I try to share one of the many crafty tutorials that I find during my online surfing adventures.

This is one of the most ingenious way to recycle and yet useful enough that you will be motivated enough to try almost immediately. I stumbled upon this on tutorial on how to make a holder for your mobile phone while it is being charged. Ashley is such a clever crafty lady in designing this holder that not only looks pretty but is useful too! Do take a peek at her blog Make It and Love It for lots of other fun tutorials.
